Naas Credit Union opened its doors in Newbridge on Tuesday, December 6th. Great to have a Credit Union presence back in the town again! I was delighted to be one of the first customers through the door and meet the six new staff employed at the branch.
The branch got down to business straight away and will be able to service the 3,500 customers that transferred their accounts to Naas CU when Newbridge branch closed, much to the dismay of its loyal members.
This is a fully functioning branch albeit a temporary office until the permanent branch opens late in 2017.There have been planning delays with the permanent location; however, Naas CU have been true to their word and opened a Newbridge temp office on schedule, as promised.
Speaking about the opening, Sean Murray, Chief Executive of Naas Credit Union said:

Opening Hours
The branch will be open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, including late night until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The branch offers dedicated lending offices to ensure privacy for members, as well as the full suite of credit union services offered throughout Naas Credit Union’s branch network.
Naas Credit Union is a safe, secure financial institution that has been serving the local community for over 40 years. The Credit Union is actively lending and it is hoped that the community of Newbridge will prioritise their local Credit Union for their future loan needs.
