“The digital strategy is designed to assist our schools to embed digital technology across teaching and learning, and to support the development of students in a holistic way.”

“I am pleased to see just under €2.5 million being allocated to Kildare in ICT grants to assist 105 primary and 39 post primary schools to assist them on their technology journey.”

Fiona concluded by saying “Covid highlighted the important role that technology plays within our education system, but also it highlighted some gaps in terms of resources and I am confident this funding will help combat that.”
