Funding approved for Athy School works

Kildare Senator Fiona O’Loughlin has announced that funding works has been approved for a secondary school in Athy under the Emergency Works Scheme.

The funding for Árdscoil na Trionóide in Athy has been approved for mechanical works.

“I am pleased to announce that funding has been approved for the school for these vital works,” said Senator O’Loughlin Ardscoil is situated on a large site on the outskirts of Athy town, on the Monasterevin road. The school complex consists of an extensive sports hall and gymnasium, a pitch to the front. There is also an astro-turf pitch at the back of the building. In early 2019 they opened an extension comprising of five new general classrooms, and two fully equipped ASD Units
